Christ’s Outreach for the Blind is located on 900 acres in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. Currently, the camp for blind and/or handicap youth and young adults is under construction. We anticipate opening during 2004, but this dream can only be recognized through your support! We need approximately $511,917.00 to complete our programs and $322,700.00 for general operating expenses during the first year. YOUR support is needed!

Gift of Cash
This is a convenient way of making a gift to the camp. This can be done through cash or check. You can designate how this money is to be used such as general operating expenses or for a particular program if you wish.

$5 Club
This is a new program at Christ’s Outreach for the Blind that allows for individuals, groups, churches, and businesses to commit to making a $5 per month donation to the camp. The donation is due by the 20th of each month.

Pledge
A pledge is a commitment that you make to give a certain amount over a period of time.

Bequest
A bequest occurs when you give or leave something (usually personal property or assets) by will or living trust. Assets can include cash, interests in a business, real estate, jewelry or art objects, stocks and bonds, and insurance benefits.

Group Fundraisers
Organize a group, develop a fundraiser such as a car wash, bake sale, auction. Then donate the proceeds to Christ’s Outreach for the Blind.

In-Kind Donations
This involves a contribution of an actual item instead of money. Some in-kind donations that we have received are furniture, appliances, and small kitchenware.

Recycling of Ink Cartridges
Christ’s Outreach for the Blind is working with Funding Factory to recycle ink cartridges, toners, and cell phones. Currently, we are working toward purchasing our ADA approved playground equipment. You can become a supporter!
